I am drying my clothes right now. On my bed. Saving both electricity and money. Surprisingly this does not make me happy.

It's 82 degrees in here. In the shade. In November. Who the hell keeps screwing with the weather?

It was 95 here Friday and Saturday. Anywhere else and I'd have been in my winter wardrobe for a month and a half already.

SoCal is having a weird sort of autumn, isn't it?

Well we did have some autumn down here, but now it's summer again. And I hate it.

It smells like smoke here. I think I found an asthmatic squirrel while I was walking home.

Yeah, you're much closer then we are. When San Diego burns though, we'll get it in the teeth.

Do the fires of hell burning nearby also help with the clothes-drying? Useful!!

No, not particularly. In fact, we haven't really seen sign of them. They are close by, but the big ones are still over a hundred miles from here.
