I've been losing a lot of weight recently. Last weekend, for instance, I think I lost five pounds in just two days (it might have been six actually). I don't feel much fitter, but I mean, if it was six pounds in two days, doesn't that make it some kind of wonder diet/exercise program?
I might publish it, but I don't think it would catch on. For one thing it makes it hard to do work, as you spend long amounts of time sitting on a toilet, doubled over in pain. Did I mention that a lot of this happened while I was driving from San Diego to Berkeley and back? That trip will not make my top ten memories.
Plus I've been moving into my new apartment, which is really a dorm room (but it's on campus).
Plus, it's hot. It's 86 degrees inside the apartment, in the cool part. I don't think I like the heat very much.

Date: 2007-09-08 04:35 am (UTC)On that note, about weight loss and exercise, from the tongue-in-cheek 'Xenophobe's guide to the Swedes' which my significant other gave me, it had this interesting section:
"The swedes indulge in sports for leisure and sex for pleasure. Some people treat sex as a sport in order to combine leisure with pleasure, and thus save time and energy."
Moral of the story? Combine what you deem as weight-trimming with pleasure, and you enjoyably save time. I'm sure you americans can come up with something :)
