Toilet Culture

silverjackal brought it to my attention that there are some people in the world who think that Toilet Culture is not something that you find after you forgo the simple act of cleaning your bathroom occasionally. This is okay. The Chinese have always been a bit...crazy.

However, I was kind of surprised to find it leading Passport this morning, along with the most stupefying, WTF-worthy, and NWS (well, really it is, but it looks like it's not) bathroom decoration I have ever seen in my life. It took me several moments to figure out what the hell it was.







I expect, that if I look up the definition of crass in the dictionary, that's what I'll see.

I don't know quite what to say about this, but it's obviously the same "aesthetic" which lead to the development of the Virgin Mary urinals. It's probably meant to be funny, but...

It's funny because it makes everyone who uses it, and everyone who made it, look like an idiot. I do not believe this is what the developers had in mind.
