Okay, Now What?

Things that are weird: Letting a bunch of men you don't know and have never met come into your apartment, pack all your worldly possessions into boxes, put all the boxes on a truck, and drive away. You're left sitting in an empty apartment thinking to yourself "WTF just happened?".

As surreal as that is, it is still preferable to having to pack and move oneself. I also hate the drudgery of unpacking and reorganizing in a new space, where inevitably the thing one really needs at the moment is at the very bottom and back of a vast pile.

It makes one wonder about how much trust we put in people who just show up at the right time. All we can do is hope everything arrives.

It was much easier than trying to pack things myself. I am in the fortunate position of being able to afford this sort of service in the future, which I have to admit is very, very convenient.
