Armchair Criticism

Y'know, I don't go to the movies. I don't watch movies in general. I certainly haven't seen these two. But just judging by the reviews, DC might have wanted to go with Kyle Rainer. And Pixar might have just wanted to stay home this year.

Very occasionally, if it's some world renowned thing that's coming to our little backwater then yes, but the street adverts are for local businesses and the occasional bigger supplier of some major commodity, like phone service. Then again, I live in a place that has a sign on the highway coming in that lists what essential services are available (all of them, here) because in other local centers they're often *not* and you need to know on entering a town whether you can buy fuel, eat at a restaurant, or find a hotel there. Advertising money for a film doesn't make it down to this level. Heh. And if you do see a film poster somewhere it's always a memorabilia piece.
