Sunday Morning

Had one of those disturbing moments this morning. I live fairly near a major street, but when I went outside this morning, there was no sound, no people, no nothing. I had to wait a minute for a single, solitary car to drive by. It was kind of weird to just sit there, surrounded by all the trappings of suburban life, and think that you're alone.

Apparently nobody's out and about before 7:30 on a Sunday morning. Who knew?

You probably just caught a "between time". We get them here too -- there are times when I'll go out to walk the dog in the morning, and there is no sign of anyone stirring. Five or ten minutes earlier or later, and there would be people shoveling their walks, or getting in their cars.

I think it may also have just been the weather - not much snow to shovel, only ice to melt every morning. Better on a Sunday to wait inside for it to melt on its own.
