I connect to the internet from inside of a National Laboratory. That means that I'm connecting through national property (the grid servers), and all federal computer networks are routinely monitored by the FBI to prevent misuse. Since the machine itself is a personal machine there should be no problems, but I'm a bit paranoid these days...
