In other, more random news (possibly a month old already), apparently a retailer in Singapore has withdrawn a cosmetics range named "Looking Good for Jesus", which included:

"The products included a "Virtuous vanilla" lip balm and a "Get Tight with Christ" hand and body cream, featuring a picture of Christ flanked by two adoring women."

I find this amusing, demonstrating, once and for all, that I am very strange.

Can't believe I missed that. Alas. Despite being currently stuck on Russ Meyer's works like Faster, Pussycat! Kill, Kill... And IMHO as to being strange, you're probably less strange than you think you are, and more strange than most others might make you out to be. Hm, how's that for a vaguely conflicting description?

I don't know about the first part, since I'm pretty strange, but I'm definitely more strange than anybody I know IRL seems to believe. I keep surprising them though.

I was going to ask you to give an example about surprising people IRL, but then you might not be comfortable answering. Anyway, today's business cartoon (http://www.theage.com.au/cartoons/) with aussie's PM Rudd as Little Red Riding Hood had me chuckling, just like the recent apology for previous grave injustices to the native australians and some people missing the point by calling it 'not poetical enough'.
