Newspaper Headline
Nov. 18th, 2006 02:28 pmThe San Diego Union-Tribune is a fairly conservative paper, so I suppose I should blame the New York Times, from whom they borrowed the article, for today's headline regarding Bush's speech in Hanoi:
Bush sees future for Iraq in today's reborn Vietnam
On the other hand, this says a great many things about Bush's Iraq strategy. I guess the only question is whether he anticipates Iraq being rebuilt under the leadership of Iran, or al-Qaeda.
-Yes, I am aware that Bush is a believer of the conservative theory of Vietnam, of which I am not entirely fond, but he takes it to an extreme that even radical Vietnam fundamentalists do not.
