I think we're overlooking the obvious solution: get in there and train the gorillas to kill interlopers with giant clubs. Just because it was in a lame Michael Crichton book (http://www.amazon.com/Congo-Dylan-Walsh/dp/B000QC4C7Y/ref=sr_1_2/105-6213208-3133264?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1180149049&sr=8-2) first doesn't mean it's not a good idea.
