In the long run, does trolling actually matter?

Y'know, considering the stance I usually take, I really ought to have thought about that before I posted. This is what happens when I try and look at the bigger picture.

I suppose that's the big issue; the internet just isn't the same as real life social interaction. However, this is the first time I've heard someone put that in a positive light, so kudos.
