In Which I am Evil, Vol I

So today I contributed to the evil in society.

Instead of paying for parking at a public park (and thus increasing the maintenance budget that the park service has to work with), I instead opted to park at the local Wal-Mart and walk across the street. I feel ridiculously guilty about this, although in my defense I must say that there was quite a long line for park access.

Next in the chronicle of my descent into evil, I will walk on the grass.

Heh. Profound evil, that. This is a species of evil that I engage in, too. Usually here parking revenue does not go to a particular venue, but rather into a general pot or even to a different organization which runs the parking areas. Consequently I have no moral qualms about not paying for parking by parking elsewhere that's fee and walking.

MY GOD, DAN, TURN AWAY FROM THE DARK SIDE BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE

I would've done the same thing.
