Fresh figs? Fresh figs are a glory and an Art in and of themselves. I also really love pears and blueberries. Ah, to live in a more "fruitful" clime than this! (Our native fruits are various Rubus species, wild apples, serviceberry/saskatoon, and bearberries. Nothing like what you have, alas.
