I guess they think that people outside the US just aren't that interested. Especially when so many of the screw-ups are for quintessentially American reasons. It's just such a mess I honestly think most people are embarrassed about it, and the half-ass response just doesn't make any sense. And it would take so long to explain why everything went wrong...
