In a way, I don't blame them. The US is the richest country on Earth. There are a lot of poor areas around the world that need taking care of, some who need it much more desperately than even New Orleans. If Europe sent aid there instead of here, I wouldn't be disappointed.

Now, if they go out and blow it on alcohol, that's another problem entirely.
